A couple of General Recalls and in the Silver and Bronze
fleets two OCS's today so far - the groups are more subdued
after a multitude of Black Flags, DSQ's and other
indiscretions yesterday.
In today's racing, the Race Committee is protesting
BRA193011 (Bruno Fontes). The Brazilian, who finished Race 9
in 29th place, allegedly hit the finish boat at the end of
that race.
In protest news from yesterday, a number of issues were
resolved one way or another.
Race 6, FRA193048 protested GBR 193064. NED 193114 failed
to keep clear as required by rule 13 and also broke rule
31.1. However, she will not be penalised further for these
breaches as she retired from the race after finishing.
GBR193064 failed to keep clear as required by rule 10.
GBR193064 was not compelled to break rule 10. Protest
upheld. GBR193064 is disqualified from Race 6.
Race 6, GBR193064 protested NED 193114. See case 3.
Protest dismissed.
Race 6, Race Committee protested AUS193003. Protest
withdrawn before hearing (protest lodged 39 minutes after
protest time limit).
Results are provisional pending protests and ratification
by Race Officials.
